I should be doing a takehome math test right now... but I really don't want to.

Hey, the last time I left it on in a thunderstorm it fried my CD-ROM. </font>
Well, as long as there's a reason... ;)

The exhausting search for the nuclear death weasel continues, but it is growing fruitless.

I'm tired, by the way. Thank goodness I don't have any tests this week!

I have no idea what this is about Ilander but it made me laugh anyway :D

Dron_Cah, has Ilander been growing something in a well hid corner of his farm?

</font>
LOL...I wish it were that cool, wellard, but as a matter of fact, it's far more lame. I saw t-shirt on a TV show that read "Nuclear death weasel" on it, and had a caricature of a weasel against a radioactive hazardous material sign. I wanted it badly, too, because it's been an ongoing joke over the years for me to talk about weasels. Makes other people think that I'm insane, which is my particular brand of comedy.

It all started with "Cheese weasels," which Dron_Cah at some point decided was a brand of snack crackers...

Cloudbringer 04-27-2005 08:58 AM

Aha! So that's the origin of the infamous 'cheese weasles' phrase! *snicker* Um....they don't sound too appetizing, though, so forgive me if we don't offer them here at the Cafe! :D

Ilander 04-27-2005 09:43 AM

Well, I certainly don't mind, Cloudy...after all, we experienced quite a bit of difficulty with marketing, as it seems weasel meat is the least popular meat in the world. Even those accustomed to living off the land don't eat weasel. Take this public hearing in Canada for example.

Quote:

It is true that we like our way of life. We never had bad medicine because there is no bad medicine in the country. All that we ever had in the country was happiness, good food, because there's good food out in the country. Animals, lots of animals in Labrador, all kinds of animals, fish, all kinds of fish, all kinds of birds, ducks. But we don't eat all the animals. Like we don't eat Whisky Jack. We don't eat gull. We don't eat crow. We don't eat weasel. We eat rabbit, porcupine, partridge. These are our main diet. Rabbit, beaver, partridge are our main diet.
*scoffs* Weasel lovers.

I used to have a t-shirt that had printed on it, "Eagles may soar, but weasles don't get sucked into jet engine intakes." :D

Wellard, just ask Galadria about suntans when you make it back to the O. She had malingnant melanoma, once, which I removed. Gives new meaning to the phrase, "killer tan".

Cloudbringer 04-27-2005 10:31 AM

I stopped 'tanning' back in my teens. Too much talk of cancer and I burned alot...hated the sunburn phase!

Weasles and jet engines.... Ok, I guess that one is true!
