Whoa, what a crazy CL week. First Arsenal knocked out of the tournament, which was quite a surprise to me, then Real Madrid fell to Monaco, which was quite a shocker, but tonights elimination of AC Milan is totally insane. Four goals in one match for La Coruna, against one of the best defenses in the world.... who'd expected that ?!?

Someone pinch me....quick. :D

I guess this years winner is going to be a complete outsider.

Hi, Cloudy, sorry to hear you were ill. I've already commiserated with you. Johnny, why is it :Real Madrid?" Is there a False Madrid?

Yeah, in the eyes of the fans there is a "false" Madrid, that would be Atletico Madrid. "Real" stands for "royal". That's why they never go bankrupt, not even if they are 200.000.000€ in debt.

Hey! I am finally here after a few days. How is everybody doing?

I played 1v1 today (soccer) for 5 grands and lost for two goals - damn wet floor.

But my opponent did confirm that I am a good dribbler.

OK nothing bad. Life goes and I will earn those 5000 in no time.

*ducks head in*
Hope you all have a great Easter Weekend!!!

Attalus 04-09-2004 01:57 PM

My weekend doesn't begin until tomorrow at noon, but have a good one, yourself.

Oh, I missed you guys/gals/creepy things that go bump in the night!

I haven't had internet access in nearly a week, and it stinks...more because of the farmwork I have to do than the lack of access...though I DID miss you all!

Anyway, logging is no way to earn a living. Gosh...climbing up and down the foothills of Appalachia for thirteen hours a day with two chainsaws...not to mention my doggone ideas about conserving the trees on our 186 acres...

Oh well, economic trouble makes us do strange things...It'll be for the best when I move out for college, methinks, 'cuz then dad'll be able to take care of himself (and only himself), and maybe'll he'll not have to worry so much about finances...

Good luck with the pc, Luvian!

Happy almost weekend, then, Attalus! :D

I've started mine! Did taxes and church today, picked up my honey after work and we've started working on some more details for the nuptials.

I can't believe we're getting so close to the big day! So much to do before that too! We've lined up the organist, bought our wedding bands and are working on the favors. Still need to see the florist, but we've got an appt. Ack, how do people do this? LOL Can't wait, though...I'm very excited about tying the knot!
