What I actually meant, if I think about it, is that it is never any use saying your better in any case (although it's fun to do so like now).

much as i hate to admit it, the main difference seems to be that men are expendable, women aren´t:
90% of all men die: everyone is a lot happier (especially the surviving men!)
90% of all women die: society would collapse... if not now, then a generation or 2 later.

also important: women have far stronger loyalties to their immediate family (which makes sense biologically: women know for sure the kids they are trying to raise are theirs... men don´t, their loyalties are often keyed to the faceless general public). both are needed, there are numerous exceptions to both, and none is really ´better´ than the other.

imo it´s important to realise there are considerable differences without branding one of the two as inferior.
