Congrats Ivelliis for helping your friend, and telling your girlfriend you love her. Awwww.

And re MSN or any of those IMs, eventually they are gonna force you to upgrade and just dump the older versions, so it was an inevitable.

Anyone got any handy tactics as to restring the tie string in sweatpants LOL? It's kinda chilly tonight, and I put on my one and only pair of sweatpants, only to see this long string hanging from one side. Guess it got de-strung in the washing machine. Bah, hate when this happens LOL.

Bought 3 new CDs today, System of the Down (Toxicity), yet another Rage Against the Machine CD hee, and a really prettily packaged Nick Cave double CD set called Abattoir Blues.

So glad tomorrow is Friday too, man this week seems to be crawling by!

And Sir G I heard something about the queen when is she coming?

This weekend sometime, I think. She's over terrorizing Saskatchewan right now. ;)

Real easy to handle those sweatpants, LZ. Just grab a safety pin or paper clip, run it through the end of the string, and feed it through the hemmed area where the string belongs. You get to "inch" it along... push the pin forward, then pull the pants back. Before you can finish a TV show, it will be through to the other side.

Cool choices on the disc LZ. You know that SOD just came out with a new one right?

Yeah Sir G I think I am going to pass up the queen. I am way to busy this weekend. Sydney is turning 3 on Sunday. So here will be family and friends over and I am sure I will be the BBQ guy.

Now I hope the weather will be good.

*Tries to remember the last time he bought a CD* Ah, yes, Christmas of '03.

Thanks Bungleau I think I'll use your method next time, my method took ages LOL. I just felt for the metal end of the string and somehow moved it along centimeter by centimeter LOL.

Mack Attack, do you know the name of the new SOD CD? I saw one there that looked new, but the cover didn't seem to have a list of songs, so I was afraid it might be a CD with only a song or two on it (price was pretty cheap). So I figured I'd go with the SOD CD I knew, although it is is year or two old I noticed by the copyright. I also wanted to get a CD from another new band but could not find it. Not sure if I have the band name wrong or if the CD just isn't out yet. I thought the band name was Crazy Anglos. I know it's at least something "Anglos" anyways LOL.

Boy what an ugly Friday LOL. Cold and pouring down rain, blah. But it IS Friday though! :D

LZ - the new SOAD albums is called Mezmerize, and it is pretty Mezmerizing. Good stuff! I trust you will have heard BYOB by now...I have about 50 times, although I like all the songs on the album. And good stuff with RATM - I got all their albums, and enjoy them all. Anyways, nevermind, Toxicity is a good album too.

No worries, LadyZ! It works well on swimsuits, too... erm, guy's swimsuits, that is. Can't think of a gal's swimsuit that needed that extra string to hold it up :D

Now, to follow up on all the work I needed to do this week. I love being busy, and I hate being busy.

Ladyzekke 05-20-2005 02:40 PM

Thanks Ross I do like Toxicity so it wasn't a bad buy. I did not see Mezmerize at Best Buy though, glad I didn't get that one that looked new, cause it was not called Mezmerize! I'll be heading over there again next week, hopefully they will have it by then. Oh and yes I love RATM too, have just about all their CDs as well. I love the new one I got, Killing In The Name Of really rocks and cracks me up at the end of the song when he just starts cursing up a storm LOL.

Yup, that's the way to do it, at least how we were taught in sewing classes back in my younger days... *she says tottering off for the rocking chair* :D :D
