Evening everyone. Had an ok flight-the cloud level was too low for us to be at an altitude to do manuevers like steep turns and stalls, so we did ground manuevers and other boring things The verdict is: I have the skills but not the knowledge! He told me to do nothing but study in the next 3 weeks if I want to pass...*sigh*

Well, see you all later. Going to Disneyland for a few hours tomorrow :D

does anyone know anything about different types of plants, there is this strange but really pretty plant/s growing in front of my home, and no one I know has been able to place it, it looks like elephant ears, but the color is wrong :/ it is a strange mix of purple, red, and green, and they tend to blend into each other, making the color darker, when we moved here, the plants were in poor shape, but I cleaned the area up, and weeded it, and now they are growing tall, but I am a little worried, because the leaves are full of holes from bugs biting it, and I am not sure if I should leave them as they are, or tear of the leaves, or just the bad areas, this is what is stopping me from sleeping now, my mind thinks of the oddest things at bed time :/

Ugh, they're doing remodel work on the lower floors of my building and there's dust everywhere! Not to mention the sound of jackhammers and such...sigh...welcome to Wednesday, I guess!

Stormymystic, try and get some horticultural soap at your local plant nursery or even Walmart. It's safe to spray on most plants and kills bugs that eat them without being toxic to people/pets. Just check the label carefully before you use anything!

Afternoon, all. It has clouded over and the temperature has stopped rising. What a strange May we have had. Well, at least business is good, probably because of it.

Cloudbringer 05-26-2004 03:09 PM

The first part of the month was warmer than usual for us but it's back to the average temps again.

My co-worker got a deal on paper so I'm staring at a wall of about 10 boxes in front of my desk and there's 7 times that spread around our office! LOL

Bungleau 05-26-2004 11:40 PM

Reminds me of a posting at the student union back when I was at Uni...

"(campus life coordinator): Congratulations on getting the great deal on pimientos! Do you think we could try *not* adding them to everything in the cafeteria for a day or two, though?"

If you want to make your coworker nervous, head over to the library and get a book on Origami. Tell her that this seems like the ideal time to learn... :D
