That works both ways, Johnny. I'm sure many would support the death penalty if the victim had been close to them, rather then the perpetrator. [img]smile.gif[/img] For the record, I do support your arguments thus far and don't support the death penalty in any way.

Hold it for one minute....i never said i was against the deathpenalty, if you're name happens to be Ted Bundy, you can rot in hell for all i care. Some crimes are deserving of the death penalty. I just don't think that smuggling drugs is among those crimes. [/QUOTE]I don't think very many people at all think that the death penalty was fair, but I think most people support the law, and if the law says you will hang when you are cought with drugs, then so be it.

Completely different situation, he was hanged for something that IS A CRIME in nearly every country in the world, not only that it is a felony in the vast majority of them, a better analogy would have picked an actual crime and blown the punishment out of proportion, after all he wasn't born with 2 kilo's of heroin strapped to his body.
