For Terias:
You get to the turning of the corridor and with your elven eyes can see in the dark which is in there. The corridor continues on twenty more meters, after which there is a massive metal door, with several keyholes in it. |

"There's no need to hold us to it, my Lord, for we shall readily serve you...and if you say that your son has betrayed his bloodline then we shall depart at once to find him. I suffer at the thought that we will not have the lady with us, who is an expert shot with the bow...but if it is your wish to have peace of mind, then so be it. When may we prepare to leave?" [ 09-05-2004, 08:29 PM: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ] |
OOC: Larry, this is the post where you hit 10K. Just FYI.
IC: "I shall choose my escort now, then." Therlion was already walking among the men. Some were polishing their weapons, some cleaning their equipment, and what not. All of them were eying the elf with contempt, killing him in their thoughts. They all hate me, might aswell pick the one that hates me most. Therlion found the rider that threatened him before. Something useful might still come out of this. "You!" he said in a hard voice "I want you to accompany me to a scouting. Get ready, we move soon." the man started "What makes you think that I want to go with you!?", but Therlion was already walking away. One. Now for one more. Therlion looked over all the other men, but found noone special, so he snatched the closest by the shoulder "The commander told me you would be a good man to come with me on a scouting mission. Are you up for it?" The man blurted Wha..? The c'mmander sa' tha'? W'll, yea, I'm up for it." "Good. Get equipped then, we shall be going soon." Therlion went to Kalam's tent to inform him that he was ready. [ 09-05-2004, 06:48 PM: Message edited by: Bozos of Bones ] |
For Turin and Roland:
"You may leave now." - said Lord Easthome at the same time indicating three of his soldiers bringing Turin's and Roland's equipment about fifty meters away from the group. OOC: if you want to take Easthome down, now is the chance, but he has two bodyguards and the three others shall soon arrive. |
For Therlion and Keal:
"Good. I see that you are ready. My scouts have reported that the wild men are in the valley parallel to the south of this one. Report back with whatever you find." - and with that Kalam dismissed Therlion and turned to Keal. "Now we can at last speak in private. I am sorry for having treated you how I had to, but I cannot lose face in front of my men." ---------------- Therlion and the two men following him left the encampment and started walking towards the south. They needed to cross a mountain pass about seven hundred meters higher to gain a view of the valley on the other side of it. So far the two men with him had shown no signs of violence... |
"Then if it is so, I accept the apology. Now, may we get on with the interigation, for I wish to help you."
|
For Keal:
Just as Kalam was about to explain that there was to be no interrogation the tent's flap flew open and a man with a bared sword jumped in. He held the quickly jumping Kalam at bay, while three more of his companions entered. Outside sounds of battle could be heard as most probably the ones loyal to Kalam battled the ones who had to kill him. The man who had first come into the tent, and who seemed to be the leader announced his intent. "You have betrayed your father and conspired to overthrow him. You must for this die!" He lunged at Kalam, while one of his companions advanced at Keal, with two short swords in his hands. Because of the size of the tent the other two men could not join the battle yet. |
For Therlion:
As you move up the mountain side you hear the sounds of the battle behind you. You turn back just in time to see the rider who had previously menaced you plunging his sword in the heart of the one you chose to follow you. Pulling out the sword and with a menacing look on his face he moved towards you with blood dripping from his sword. "Told you I'll be the one to get you!" And when saying the last word he jumped at Therlion swinging his sword in an upward motion. |
Terias decides to go back to where the group is waiting and states that they should try the first door on the left.
OOC> anyone else post opinions of which door you want to go through, and we shall decide how to proceed |
For Terias:
OOC: since Cienden doesn't seem to be here you are the only non DM character in the stronghold group and therefore you are the one to decide. So here goes: IC: Oruniun agrees that starting to open doors might be the right choice and therefore opens the door Terias suggested. Inside, apart from a few rags there is nothing. You can open a different door or return the way that you came. |
