"You have a point. But still, the Whitecloak, and yet, you are as always, correct - shall I weave the gateway now? Say 20 mins ride from their camp?" he asked silently. "Or perhaps tell the girl you inverted the weaves.. it does not matter, when you are ready?"

Ladisha glanced back at Ailurin briefly and patted Sky on the neck with navy blue riding gloves embriodered with silver on the back,
<<That sounds fine, Ailurin. Besides, I wouldn't have brought my horse if we were going to Travel the whole way>> |
Ailurin nodded, and wove a gateway. "After you Aes Sedai, and after you Whitecloak"

Keely's eyes widened in surprise and her eyebrows shot up. She had known this man was Ladisha Sedai's Warder, but not that he was a man who could channel as well! She licked her lips nervously and glanced at the White Cloak, who was gaping openly at the hole in the air. Ladisha Sedai smiled thanks at Ailurin though, and guided her blue roan calmly through the gateway. Not wanting to appear slight in front of the other three, Keely set her face determinedly and led her gelding into the hole before the White Cloak.

Once the Whitecloak had gone though the gateway, Ailurin followed. Then the gateway closed, he looked every inch an Asha'man, save for the icons, which he did not wear.

The trio rode in silence for awhile until a town could be seen in the distance. It was disturbingly quite for such a prosperus little city...
Keely gripped her reins nervously as they drew closer. She glanced at Ladisha Sedai; the woman was so relaxed: her sharp blue eyes scanned the town calmly and her face was as smooth as the petal of a rose. Ailurin looked more tense, though maybe that was the way all Warders looked... "We will stop here," Ladisha Sedai's high voice sounded, starling Keely, "It won't be safe for me to enter the town, so my work can be conducted here," "Work?" Keely inquired curiously, "What are you going to do, Aes Sedai?" "Invoke my talent, child. Watch closely," The bright aura of sadiar surrounded the Aes Sedai. It grew larger and Keely could feel enormous amounts of the Power being drawn. She must be channeling through her angreal. A small weave of Air was stuffedi nto the White Cloaks mouth and tied off so he could not shout. Ladisha Sedai's eyes were glued to the sky, and suddenly thick weaves of Fire, Spirit, and Air shot from her. Under practiced direction, a thick, dark cloud formed from the intricate weaves, hovering ominously over the tented encampment of the White Cloaks. A streak of lightning flashed out, and then a torrent of snow came pounding down. In that one area. The rest of the town lay untouched. Keely saw the weaves tied off, though the Aes Sedai did not release the source. "If that does not drive them out soon, they will find themselves digging out of over 8 feet of snow," The Aes Sedai smiled down at the Lieutenant, "Aren't you glad you're here instead of there?" she chuckled. |
Ailurin chuckled, and suggested that they hid themselves from sight. Using the Power, of course.

The pig men and other abbominations were finally out of the wasteland and marching forth... due to their suplies running thin they decided they'd stop off at a nearby town, they sent scouts ahead to recorded that at a distance the town they were headed to seemed deserted, they also said that some humans, not white cloaks, were en route... and interesting comodity allies were quite exotic in these parts...
Deciding on chance the high commander ordered his troops to stand by and at the sound of his battle horn ravage and pilliage the town... He was going to head on in himself. Keeping under their master's cloak they were invisibly sheilded fromt he minds of those who could see, and only F'sarg was outside of it now. The clan leader bore his double edged haliberd ready to strike at anything that moved, and slowly crept between the buildings, wating for a human to pass... [ 02-11-2003, 02:08 PM: Message edited by: /)eathKiller ] |
ooc-/) you're not in the town the White Cloaks are, are you?
Ladisha nodded and indicated with a wave of her hand that he could make the sheild. She grinned as some White Cloaks jumped out of their tents, staring at the cloud. |
Ailurin made the shield, and watched in contentment as the stupid whitecloaks ran around screaming about the Dark lord... and black magic. He chuckled.
