IC: "I have all I need." Talthus whistles and his wolf comes out of the shadows and sits down beside him quietly. "By the way Elif, I don't take kindly to being called lad..." He slowly turns away and begins to walk...
OOC: Well we can't start a new HTOA game unless we get something like 300 posts in people. Please try to post more because despite the fact that we have no DM, the game is still going fairly well. |
Yell ye look like a lad to me, I mean you do wear pant's right" he looks down " look's like it to me" he smiles with jokeing glint in his eye's " Well then, now thgat we have that cleared up let us be off"
ofbic: A dark shadow flit's through the surrounding wood's all that can be recognised that something has passed is an occasional disturbance of the undergrowth or a few leqves being picked up and twirled about. Seeing the temple and some of it's ocupants outside brings it joy at seeing it's plan starting to work. Talthus hears a slight whisper that say's "Your day's are numbered" and it is gone as quckly as the wind brought it. ooc: just a little mood setting ;) Turn off you siggy Talthus, okie [ 11-19-2002, 11:52 AM: Message edited by: Elif Godson ] |
Alasdair pulls his hood up and follows behind Elif and Talthus, crossing his arms and staring at the earth beneath him as he walks. The night air was cold and unforgiving, the sharp wind howled throughout the surrounding trees of the temple, yet Alasdair's posture remained stern and upright, his cloak blowing rapidly in the wind. He walked silently.
OOC: This is actually going somewhere :D (edit: stupid sig) [ 11-19-2002, 04:26 PM: Message edited by: Shadowheart ] |
Skye followed after the others, after hurriedly getting some things together and grabbing her harp. After a short distance, she spoke up hesitantly. "Erm, maybe I just missed something, but where exactly are we going..?" she asked, slightly embarrassed. A cold wind blew through the dark trees, and her harp's strings tinkled musically as it blew by.
|
Alasdair raises his head a little to look back at Skye, and crosses his arms tighter to try and warm himself. "I plan to thank the person who saved me in the forest not long ago... Are you sure you wish to come along with us?" He slows his pace down a little, and looks back down to the ground.
|
Skye huffed, and gave a slight pout. "I may be clumsy, a girl, and a half-elf, but I can keep up when I choose to. I just don't choose to alot," she winked. "It's better to come with you guys then be left behind with the empty temple.."
|
"I suppose you're right." He says with a grin, his teeth chattering in the cold nights air. "Come on then, we wouldn't want Skye to get left behind now would we?" He says amusingly to make light of the situation. They all knew that travelling down the cold road when they could be relaxing in the temple was a bit awkward, but Alasdair had set in his mind to thank the mysterious figure. He stops and allows her the time to catch up with him and continues down the road.
OOC: Going great as a freelance RPG isn't it? Who said we can't manage a good game without a DM... ^_^ |
IC: Talthus quietly walks with his arms crossed a few meters infront of the group and suddenly lifts his head and listens for a second. His wolf darts off to the left in a blur and he dashes to the right. They were gone for about 3 minutes when about 50 meters ahead on the road a dark figure runs out onto the road and pauses momentarily to look back. Talthus's wolf then comes out of the trees on his left while he stares at it. He then turns around only to feel Talthus's blade jam into his throat and pull straight through. The body falls to the ground and Talthus and his wolf turn to face the trees to the left as you begin to hear what sounds like a large group running in his direction...
OOC: well I'll gladly add some things when they're needed. I don't really care for games without a dm but hey, this is going pretty well... |
Alasdair stops and unsheates his blade in a quick motion, looking to Dak he nods, and jumps over the road theyre on onto a shore below. The shore was muddy with rounded stones covering the ground, thick fog rising from the lake next to him. He looks back up to Elif and Skye. "Keep a stern watch."
Alasdair sees Talthus leap down, and Alasdair quickly runs to him. "What was it?" [ 11-24-2002, 08:17 PM: Message edited by: Shadowheart ] |
Talthus lands below on a large rock and runs over to Alasdair. "Well there were 4 orcs and I tried to attack them from behind but something huge was with them. I'm not sure what it was but it looked like a troll, so I just lured one out to make it more even but they kept pace with me. We'd better be careful in the way we do this my friend. I've had ferocious battles with trolls before and they are not to be toyed with. we must hit the orcs first, fast, and hard. Then once they have been dealt with, we take the troll on all at once. We'll need some way of getting the orcs on their own though, think you can handle dodging the troll for a little while I take care of the three stooges?" Talthus watches as the 3 orcs drop down about 100 paces to their left and then the huge 8' tall troll climb down.
