Waterbeds are horrible if you have any sort of back/neck injuries or problems. Granted, they are cool [img]graemlins/cool.gif[/img] , but if you're looking for a restful sleep, a waterbed is not the way to go. </font>[/QUOTE]I respectfully disagree with you. A waterbed sleep is very comforting and restful. Of course, if you have a low-end bag-of-water mattress, it will be very sloshy. I had a semi-waveless mattress for a long time... and both my wife and I slept comfortably (except when I came to bed late and moved her around). And when she was pregnant, she found it much more comfortable than a regular bed.
As for it being a problem if you have back or neck injuries, all I can add is that when I injured my back, it was still restful.
*sigh* I still miss it...
