Cloudy, P.O.D., if I've got the right group, means Payable On Death. They started out as an, I think, alternative style christian band, later they picked up a secular title to reach a larger crowd.

Side note (with nothing to do with the afforementioned topic): I seem to have an irritating problem with IQ becoming randomly inaccessable for short periods of time. 10-15 minutes to be exact. Could it be the connection on my end or is something wrong with the server?

I always hate the names those gothic rock groups (P.O.D. isn't even one, I know) come up with: "Blind Guardian" for example; all gothic letters, and the music.. *shudders*
P.O.D. is ok, I guess but why name yourself Payable On Death.. Bunch of pessimists...

I know that there's a difference between P.O.D. and bands like Blind Guardian, but the title "Payable On Death" just made me think of goth metal bands..

I would'nt consider P.O.D. goth metal

Thanks for the info, Firestormalpha. Payable on Death seems a little morbid, but then if they are or were a Christian oriented band, it makes sense.

I'm not up at all on all the bands and types of music out there now! Call me outof touch but I don't go for a lot of the metal/heavy stuff and rarely even know the names of singers I hear but don't own cd's for! Move over 'old man' *sits next to Wellard and sips her tea* I remember when......" :D
