Shadow looks up, "Did anyone else hear something?"
He slowly opens the door and glances out, he sees two figures walking away from the tavern and raises an eyebrow.

His gaze fixes onto Duo, angry, stern, and melancholic. He silently strides over to her, and stands by her side. He waits a moment, and looks down to her... Calming himself a little. "I shall help you find her." Looking to the ground, he feels the blame and anger of it all, he was just with her, how could they have found her so quickly without him knowing a thing about it? No motive was sensed, no presence was felt...

With that, he walks silently out of the doorway, and looks back to Duo. "Let us not waste any more time."

ooc- eep, holidays caught up to me. [img]smile.gif[/img] just got a new computer [img]graemlins/1partyguy.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/cheering.gif[/img] so ive been busy setting it up and all that fun stuff [img]smile.gif[/img]

ic- Duo looked coldly at the others, as if seeing them from a long ways away. <font color="crimson">"Thank you for your assistance. We can discuss fighting tactics along the way."</font> She rushed out of the door, and the others followed, barely able to keep up with her in her rush.

They seemed to be led in a generally southwestern direction through the large, gloomy forest. It was rumoured in the town that the decrepid remains of a rundown castle was located somewhere in this direction.

Duo stopped suddenly, looking around. <font color="crimson">"It's around here somewhere... it's too close for me to sense its exact location. I can't sense Skye, because she's most likely still under its spell, or unconcious. Unfortunately, we won't be able to destroy the creature without Skye's help, because nothing but natural sunlight will destroy. Believe me,"</font> she said dryly, <font color="crimson">"I've tried burning, stabbing, everything and anything to that creature, and it just won't stay dead. Because we're all vampyres, we can't be out in the light. No one but Skye can... unless someone has a better idea?"</font> While she was talking, Duo was searching for any telltale signs of the insane vampyre's passing, her face cold and calm, while a fire burned angrily in her red-violet eyes.

ooc- hey Tancred, wanna bump into us and go on a quest? :D :D rescue the fair damsel in distress! :D

Leaning against a nearby tree, Laisrean looked to Vampyress with a concerned look and awaited her reply. He respected her authority as Clan Leader, though deep inside he knew that he'd not follow her blindly if he felt that it would set him back. He contemplated leaving them to search for himself... but Duo seemed to know more about this particular Vampire fiend than anyone else. What he would do next depended on the Leader's words.
