Well, just to add about Nalia - I am sure you have read her ToB ending? Nowhere there does it tell that she became a excellent swashbuckler or some such. No, it tells that she became a Grand Mage or some such, in any case someone quite adept at magic. Contradicts a lot with your "couple of magic missiles" magical skills you plan for Nalia...

To make these changes coherent with the game overall advancement, it's probably a good idea to read through the endings in ToB of all these chars, which have an ending there. That way you can make them to be more 'in-line' with the game.
