Good morning everyone! Well, it's not the best morning here... I'm alone in my office (colleague bailed out saying she 'has a runny nose' ) and the weather is grey, with heavy rain storms predicted for the afternoon, but all in all, it IS Friday, so I guess it isn't all bad!

RoSs_bg2_rox 10-15-2004 09:36 AM

Lol Amber, a runny nose!!!! You could never get away with that over here. :D

Well today is pretty boring for me, the weather is crap, this room is quite freezing *turns on central heating* and I don't have anything planned apart from organize 4000 songs onto my mp3 player (it takes hours)

I need some game to play or something. Hmmm...*looks at collection of unfinished games*...I'm sure I'l find something.

So Ross how is it going? It's Friday people. And the weather is getting better. While we're on the MP3 subject I was thingking of getting myself Ipod. Does anyone recommend it?

RoSs_bg2_rox 10-15-2004 10:01 AM

Hey Xen, Im ok, but bored. Hmmm. Ipod's are quite good, I was gona get one myself, but they do have a battery life issue, and the batteries are not worth the hastle of buying for Ipods. So I got myself a 60gb Creative Nomad Zen Xtra. It can hold all the songs you could ever dream of, and it has a lot of nice functions. Also the Rio Karma is worth a look, it is 20gb and is very small (the smallest hard drive based player infact)

Good morning, all. A beautiful day, here. Went on a 2 mile walk with the big dogs, and it went well. Cloudy, I don't see why your COWorker still has a job.

Ilander 10-15-2004 10:36 AM

Woooooozzy...oh man...

I was taking a shower this morning in our lovely facility for such things, here in Holmes Hall, and it just happened to be at the same time as them CLEANING the showers...well, the standard procedure for such is obviously just dumping a gallon of bleach on the floor, and letting it drain on its own...so I have been short of breath and mildly dizzy ever since...man I hate chlorine!

Well, off to take a nap, and then do Calculus II homework! Have a good day everybody!

RoSs_bg2_rox 10-15-2004 10:45 AM

Lol Ilander, I thought you were going to tell us an embarrasing story about a woman there :D

Hmmm... Im thinking hard about this one. Should I play Warcraft 3 again? I mean I am so bored, Morrowind can wait, I'm sure a couple of games wont hurt...

I think the Archos Gmini XS200 wins that one, at 7.6 x 5.9 x 1.9cm and 120g.

Yup, Ross, a runny nose! Go figure!

Attalus, I don't know either!

So what do you young folk recommend for mp3 players now? Portable ones... ok, if I'm showing I know ZERO about them, it's true! LOL
